At the age of 18, I began singing classic pop songs spanning from the 1930’s era to modern day, as well as tunes from The Great American Songbook, Easy Listening, folk, and Broadway catalogues professionally. I was hired to sing at a local restaurant in my hometown, and the more I sang the more traction the business would get. Soon I had offers to sing at many different venues, and the exposure I gained from my gigs lead to numerous inquiries about performing at private events. I began singing everywhere from weddings and corporate gatherings, to backyard brunches and showers!
I come equipped with my own professional set-up, and carefully plan out my musical selections for each unique event. Depending on the needs of my clients, I am willing to learn new material to accompany specific themes of the event, as long as it remains under the umbrella of what is true to myself as an artist. My favorite circumstance is when a client requests a special song to personalize their celebration- for example, singing a couple’s wedding dance song during their 50th Anniversary celebration, a song to honor someone who has passed, or simply a song that brings my client back to a meaningful time in their life. There is no greater honor than helping someone relive a sentimental memory through music.
I also sing in Italian, Spanish, and French, and am quick to learn songs in other languages if a request is made in advance.
