Welcome! My name is Julia Marson and I am a New York City based vocalist, theatre artist, and storyteller. Originally from a small farmtown in central California, I was raised by my very large musical family. Being that my Grandmother performed in a girl group with her sisters well into her 80s (think The Andrew Sisters style), and my Father is a Singer/Songwriter and Guitar player (think John Denver and James Taylor style), I consider myself a third generation professional performing artist!

I first studied Music Theory and Voice at Modesto Junior College before moving to Rome, Italy, where I sought to explore my cultural routes which inspired me artistically throughout my life. But Musical Theatre is my truest love, so upon my return to the States I fulfilled my lifelong dream of moving to New York City after being accepted into Marymount Manhattan College’s Musical Theatre program. Since graduating with my BFA in 2021, I have performed roles in various theatre companies throughout the city, have sung in famous venues such as 54 Below, Birdland Jazz Club, The Wallace Lounge, Chelsea Table + Stages, and more, and have most recently toured up and down the East Coast as a vocalist for Vienna Light Orchestra. I continue my studies in voice with Deric Rosenblatt of Vocal Power Presents, acting with The PK Method, and run a thriving YouTube channel where I post weekly song covers, and anything else related to my work in the theater. I currently live in Brooklyn.

When not performing onstage in a theater project or booked for a musical gig, I am happiest when swept away in a book, film, or as an audience member for the local arts community, being active, planning travels and events with the love of my life, and indulging in the following: delicious meals, extensive pamper routines, and charming clothing stores!
